Asansol Schools Network

This is the future website for those who have had any affiliation with schools in Asansol and Burnpur (West Bengal, India). It is under planning, and will be unveiled in 2009. If you would like to be notified when we launch, see below.

We are interested in those who ever were in schools like St. Patrick's, St. Vincent's or Loreto Convent or knew people who were.  We are primarily interested in ex-students, teachers, staff, and those who have known them (friends, relatives, neighbours), including their children. All are welcome!

After we launch this service, you will be able to enter in your school-related information in a directory, and also search that directory for all types of connections.  More than other batchmates/alumni sites - we will try to establish connections between our schools, and provide the tools to enable Asansol area alumni reunions in various cities in India and overseas. Also, it will be possible to locate friends you had from the same neighbourhoods.

This is an effort by a nonprofit called St. Patrick's Alumni International (SPAI) to renew connections and set up a network in India and abroad of those of us with an Asansol connection.

We welcome contributions by any "Friends of SPAI" to our Annual Fund that will help us speed up how quickly we can provide this Asansol Schools service.  If interested, please email giving@asansolschools.org.
